It drags you into the world of Gravity falls, making the twists and turns more drastic than any other TV show. It makes you love their connections, the way you can so easily laugh and relate to them. One of my favorite traits of Gravity Falls is how it has given watchers such a strong connection to the uniquest of characters. I've been watching Gravity falls for a good while, and it's one of the most pleasurable things to watch. This episode was so brilliantly orchestrated with its colorful animation, music, and over the top story telling. Seriously, nothing else could leave me with such a reaction of total shock, worry, amazement, and tears. This episode of Gravity falls was absolutely astounding. I can't fully explain in words how amazing this episode of Gravity falls was, but I'll do my best. This show deserves a Blu-Ray box set with all the trappings. Overall, this is easily my favorite Gravity Falls episode. That said, I didn't feel like the less-funny jokes detracted from the episode. Of course, that's a matter of personal taste. I felt like there were a lot of attempted jokes, but I only found a few funny. The only aspect of this episode that didn't appeal to me was the jokes. The voice-acting was absolutely inspired. The music is evocative and beautifully scored. The visuals are entertaining and memorable. The inter-character conflict is believable and heart-wrenching.
The big reveal is immensely satisfying and powerful while also bringing up more questions. I've loved Gravity Falls since the first episode watching and dissecting the mystery between episodes has been the funnest part! And this episode delivered on all fronts.

This episode is a shining example of how to deliver, pure and simple. The conflict had never been higher and the characters had never never had to deal with so much in one episode. This episode felt like a theatrical film for me everything felt like it had been turned up to an 11. Not only do the characters not believe in Stan, you yourself question if he is who he claims. This is one of my favorite episodes of all time. The device reveals to be a portal and out walks no one else than Stan's brother, the author of the books. The end is the biggest plot twist/reveal ever in the show. Dipper ans Soos have lost trust in him but Mable still wants to trust Stan but doesn't know if she should.

At this point Stan has escaped captivity from the feds, and has appeared to try to stop them from turning off the machine, telling them they have to trust him, a line he's used to scam many people before, plus this time they have evidence against him.
They then go into his hidden lair behind the vending machine to find the device, and the journals state that it can destroy the universe. They then go into a rabbit hole of lies that Stan told them, ending with a newspaper article stating that Stan was dead from a car accident, with the breaks tampered with. Mable and Dipper try to prove his innocence so they break into his office to find evidence from the surveillance camera, only to find that he did in fact steal the waste. The plot of this episode is that Grunkle Stan is arrested by the federal agency for stealing barrels of toxic waste.

This episode is the best of this entire series, and that's saying something because we're talking about Gravity Falls, the only series that doesn't have a single bad episode.
